Knowledge about Aluminum extrusion die(一)

 

1. The instrumentation used to detect the dimensional accuracy, hardness and surface roughness of the mold online and offline. The mold that passes the testing and acceptance is registered, the human warehouse is on the shelf, the polished mold hole working belt is taken out when used, and the diversion mold, profile mold and mold pad are assembled and inspected, and sent to the machine for heating when it is confirmed to be correct

 

2. Aluminum extrusion mold before the machine heating temperature regulations: extrusion cylinder: 400 ~ 450 °C, extrusion pad: 350 °C, mold pad: 350 ~ 400 °C, flat die: 450 ~ 470 °C, shunt die: 460 ~ 480 °C, holding time according to the thickness of the mold calculated (l.5 ~ 2 minutes / mm)

 

3. The heating time of the aluminum extrusion mold in the furnace is not allowed to exceed 10 hours, the time is too long, and the mold hole working belt is easy to corrode or deform

 

4. At the beginning of the extrusion of aluminum profiles, pressure needs to be added slowly, as the impact force is likely to cause a blockage. If a mold plugging occurs, it is necessary to stop the machine immediately to prevent the die hole working belt from being crushed

 

5. After the mold is unloaded, put it to the alkali tank to cook when it is cold to 150-180° C, because the mold is cooked at high temperature, and it is easy to be cracked by the impact of the heat wave. And it should adopt advanced erosion methods to recover and save alkali, shorten corrosion time and achieve pollution-free cleaning
